An Advent calendar counts down the days until Christmas. This tradition is believed to have originated with the German Lutherans. The calendar features moveable parts, such as flaps, doors, or pockets, that reveal a daily surprise. In 2021, Smoke Inn released its first Advent calendar, where the “surprise” is a different cigar daily. For the first time since 2021, Smoke Inn has redesigned the packaging.
Today’s reveal is the El Mago Solstice, which is a limited edition offering. Launched in 2022, Owner Nick Fusco created the cigar company as a tribute to his grandparents, Maria and Gonzalo Torre, who died together on June 24, 2021, in Miami, Florida, when their building, The Champlain Towers, suddenly collapsed in the middle of the night. When he established the company, Nick became the youngest owner of a premium cigar company at age 23. Solstice is a limited edition cigar that debuted at the 2024 PCA Trade Show.
