Today, we examine the contents of the 2024 Smoke Inn Advent calendar for day 24. Warning: spoiler alert.
An Advent calendar counts down the days until Christmas. This tradition is believed to have originated with the German Lutherans. The calendar features moveable parts, such as flaps, doors, or pockets, that reveal a daily surprise. In 2021, Smoke Inn released its first Advent calendar, where the “surprise” is a different cigar daily. For the first time since 2021, Smoke Inn has redesigned the packaging.
Today’s reveal is the El Septimo Sacred Arts Collection featuring Salvador Dali. The name “El Septimo” translates to “the seventh,” and the Sacred Arts Collection follows that theme with seven cigars included in the collection. The Sacred Arts Collections ties art with the seven days of creation. Each of the cigars in the collection has a different size and a different blend. Finally, each vitola is dedicated to an artist and one of their works. As the name indicates, the El Septimo Sacred Arts Collection Salvador Dali pays homage to the artist Salvador Dali. It pays homage to the fifth day of creation represented in his work “Christ of Saint John of the Cross.”
