Smoke Inn Hanukkah Box Shamash

Today, we begin the reveal of the 2024 Smoke Inn Hanukkah Box with the cigar inside the Shamash candle box.  Warning: spoiler alert.

Similar to how Smoke Inn’s Advent Calendar functioned, a different cigar will be revealed each day for the eight days of Hanukkah.  Much like a menorah candle is lit for each night of Hanukkah, there is a “candle” box inside the big Hanukkah box that contains a cigar. There is a ninth candle of the menorah, known as the Shamash, that is used to light the other candles on the menorah. Smoke Inn’s Hanukkah box contains nine candle boxes – eight  representing the eight nights of Hanukkah, and one for the Shamash.

There is also one big difference between the Smoke Inn Hanukkah Box and Smoke Inn Advent Calendar. The Advent Calendar focuses on more commercially available cigars. The Hanukkah Box focuses on rare and limited production cigars.

Today’s reveal is the Room101 Uncle Lee. Room101 Uncle Lee is a project that dates back over a decade. This was originally a limited edition cigar produced back in 2014 when Room101 was produced and distributed by Davidoff. Uncle Lee is the uncle of Room101 brand founder Matt Booth. Booth credits his uncle for introducing him to cigars. By the time Room101’s tenure with Davidoff ended, the Uncle Lee was pretty much gone. Recently (now a part of STG), a reblended version of Room101 Uncle Lee has returned as a cigar for select events. Little information has been disclosed about this cigar, but it is priced at $12.00.
