Stolen Throne Preakness 150 Cigar

Stolen Throne Cigars has announced a commemorative cigar to honor the historic 150th running of the Preakness Stakes. The Preakness Stakes is the Middle Jewel of thoroughbred racing’s Triple Crown. It is also a special release for Stolen Throne Cigars’ owner, Lee Marsh, who has deep roots in the Baltimore area where the race is run.

The Preakness Stakes are held annually on the third Saturday in May at the iconic Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. For Marsh, a native of Baltimore, the event holds a profound personal significance. “It’s an incredible honor to pay tribute to the Preakness and my hometown in a way that truly reflects my passion and craft,” said Marsh in a press release.

The Preakness 150 Limited Edition Cigar will be exclusively available in a 6 x 46 Corona. The blend is highlighted by a Habano Claro wrapper. The cigar will debut at select Baltimore and regional retailers in the first quarter of 2025. Plans to expand distribution nationally ahead of the race are in place.

Each cigar will have a projected MSRP of $14 and will be presented in elegant ten-count boxes.

The 150th running of the Preakness Stakes will take place on May 17, 2025. The weekend is slated to include entertainment.
