My Father Cigars is the winner of the Prime Time Award for 2024 Large Company of the Year. This award factors in innovation, continued quality, and impact on the industry coming out of a large company.
This year was a busy year in terms of production innovation. Highlighting the year was the La Union project, a collaboration done in conjunction with Tatuaje Cigars as both companies recently celebrated their 20th anniversaries. Meanwhile the company released the Le Bijou 1922 100 Años 2024 Edition, a new batch of the cigar that captured #1 Cigar of the Year for 2023. There were some new additions made to the Jaime Garcia brand. The Don Pepin Vintage Edition saw a national release, and toward the end of the year, My Father released a revamped version of El Rey de los Habanos. Finally the Fonseca band saw a new addition with the Fonseca MX.
Alongside with the cigar releases, some of our panel noted the packaging by My Father Cigars. This represents some of the most exquisite packaging in the cigar industry – and it’s elevated the brands of My Father Cigars as a whole.
My Father Cigars received three first places votes from our panel of seven. While it’s the first time My Father Cigars the company has captured this award, one of My Father Cigars’ production facilities, My Father Cigars SA has won our Large Factory of the Year award the past three consecutive years.
