Rob Maneson has announced his departure from the League of Fat Bastards (LOFB). He has served as the company’s President of the U.S. and Americas since April 2024. No reason for his departure was given.
“LOFB is a truly unique brand with its focus on mental health, something rarely seen in the cigar industry,” said Maneson in a statement sent to various media members. “I wish the team continued success as they build on that vision.”
Maneson is a long-time industry veteran who has held various leadership positions. This includes the CEO of JR Cigar and the Senior Vice President for Imperial Brands’ U.S. Division.
Following Maneson’s announcements, LOFB Founder Adam Levine issued a statement confirming Maneson’s departure and stated Maneson had resigned from the company. In a statement:
“In the period that Rob has been with LOFB, he has worked with the team to help build our distribution and overseen the expansion from our Serie L to our Serie O lines and assisted in setting LOFB up for further growth.
“We thank him for his efforts during his tenure and of course wish him well for his future endeavours, wherever they may be.”
LOFB confirmed its plans to move forward with a third line, Serie F which has a female-focused them. In addition, the company is launching a vertical into the non-alcoholic beer space. It remains committed to donating 40% give back of net profits to men’s mental health initiatives.
