La Aurora Hors d’Age 2024

La Aurora has announced the La Aurora Preferidos Hors D’Age 2024 Limited Edition (LE). The Hors D’Age 2024 LE will debut at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show.

Hors D’Age stands for “beyond time.” The La Aurora Hors D’Age release is distinguished by the extra aging process used to develop this blend. Significantly, La Aurora says the product goes through a 12-year cycle from when the tobacco seeds are sown to when the completed cigars reach consumers. Since the line debuted in 2018, there have also been 2019, 2020,  2021, and 2022 editions. The 2024 vintage is the sixth release of the line.

The 2024 release comes in one size – a 5/34 x 54 Toro. The blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and binder, complemented by Dominican, Colombian, and Nicaraguan fillers. A total of 700 boxes, each containing 15 cigars, will be released this year with a price of $30.00 per cigar.

“From seed to cigar, the journey for this release began 12 years ago. As a result, we named it Hors d’Age, which is taken from the French cognac designation, literally translating to ‘beyond age.’ And just as Hors d’Age cognac is arguably some of the highest quality cognac in the world due to its age, we set out to create an annual release that was also of the highest quality, thanks to expert aging and blending,” says Master Blender Manuel Inoa.

La Aurora USA estimates the new vitolas will ship to retailers in late April.
