Don Carlos Sangre de Toro

At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show in New Orleans, Louisiana, Arturo Fuente unveiled the Don Carlos Sangre de Toro. It’s a significant release because it marks the first time an Arturo Fuente Don Carlos vitola has used a San Andres Mexican wrapper.

Sangre de Toro means “Bull’s Blood,” and while Carlos Carlito Fuente confirmed that this new Don Carlos line uses a Mexican wrapper, other details, such as sizes and pricing, were not made available at this time. At least one retailer confirmed to Cigar Coop that the cigar was not available for order, but was being showcased as a future release.

The Don Carlos line pays homage to the late Carlos Fuente Sr., who passed away in 2016. The line has a reputation for showcasing some of Arturo Fuente’s best tobacco.
