On the eve of the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Black Star Line Cigars announced it had parted ways with Cliff Nelson, Vice President of Sales.
In a press release, owner Aric Bey said, “Mr Nelson no longer speaks for Black Star Line Cigars. Any retailer that has been in contact with him can reach out to us directly via email or by phone.”
The press release also indicates that Nelson is currently out of the cigar industry. Additionally, Black Star Line has reaffirmed Richard Bratton’s role as National Sales Manager and has welcomed three new sales representatives: TJ Jones, DJ Jackson, and Mimi Palmer. In addition, Sarah Burkhart will now serve as the brand ambassador. These four new team members join the existing brokers Doug Sifford, Tim Wong, Albert Cisneros, and Quinton Brown.
“These four individuals were hand picked by me because of their professionalism, sales experience and business acumen. They also bring positivity to the team that was sorely needed. My national sales manager Richard Bratton and I are looking to have a great show in New Orleans and this team is going to help us make that happen,” commented Bey.
The 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show opens April 12, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
