Cachitos Connecticut

At the upcoming 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Global Premium Cigars (GPC) plans to unveil the Cachitos Connecticut. This new release marks the first extension of the Cachitos brand, which was originally introduced in 2019. The Cachitos line is designed to offer a convenient smoking experience, ideal for those looking to enjoy a cigar in a shorter timeframe.

Cachitos Connecticut features a wrapper made from USA Connecticut River Valley Shade Grown tobacco. The blend includes a binder and filler primarily sourced from Nicaraguan tobacco, specifically from the Jalapa and Condega regions. Like the original Cachitos, the Cachitos Connecticut is available in a 4 x 50 Short Robusto size and is sold in boxes of five.

In a press release, company CEO Enrique Sanchez stated, “I can honestly say that now is the right time to release this special new blend. It has taken us a long time to find, select and incorporate just the right combination of premium tobaccos that deliver an extraordinarily smooth, yet complex and flavorful Connecticut wrapper blend. One of the challenges was to create a cigar blend that would satisfy cigar smokers across the spectrum of profile preferences. I live for these types of blending challenges, always diving deep into my Nicaraguan roots to deliver blends that are uniquely pleasing, and it brings me great pleasure to now share this blend with cigar lovers everywhere.”

Global Premium Cigars is also the parent company of the 1502 Cigars brand.

The 2025 PCA Trade Show opens April 12, 2025. Global Premium Cigars says Cachitos Connecticut will ship this month.
