At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Global Premium Cigars (GPC) will release the Cachitos Connecticut. Cachitos is a brand in the GPC portfolio that is meant to provide a smoke in a short time period. It’s the first extension to the Cachitos brand since it was first introduced back in 2019.
Cachitos Connecticut features a USA Connecticut River Valley Shade Grown wrapper. The remainder of the blend uses Nicaraguan tobacco for the binder and filler primarily from the Jalapa and Condega regions. As with the original Cachitos, Cachitos Connecticut comes in 4 x 50 Short Robusto and is sold in five pack boxes.
In a press release, company CEO Enrique Sanchez stated, “I can honestly say that now is the right time to release this special new blend. It has taken us a long time to find, select and incorporate just the right combination of premium tobaccos that deliver an extraordinarily smooth, yet complex and flavorful Connecticut wrapper blend. One of the challenges was to create a cigar blend that would satisfy cigar smokers across the spectrum of profile preferences. I live for these types of blending challenges, always diving deep into my Nicaraguan roots to deliver blends that are uniquely pleasing, and it brings me great pleasure to now share this blend with cigar lovers everywhere.”
Global Premium Cigars is also the parent company of the 1502 Cigars brand.
The 2025 PCA Trade Show opens April 12, 2025. Global Premium Cigars says Cachitos Connecticut will ship this month.
