General Cigar Company has announced the Macanudo Gold Label is making its annual return which includes a new 6 1/2 x 52 limited edition Torpedo.
Originally released in 2002, the Macanudo Gold Label gets its name from its golden brown wrapper. The wrapper is a Connecticut Shade from the first and second primings. The cigar also features a Mexican San Andres binder from the first and second primings. The filler is a blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Mexican Tobaccos. A total of eight frontmarks will be a part the 2025 release.
In a press release, Matt Wilson Senior Brand Manager for Macanudo said, “Macanudo Gold Label has always been a fan favorite, and it’s a release we’re proud to bring back each year. As always, we’ve incorporated the first and second primings of the Mexican San Andrés binder to deliver an even more elevated smoking experience. Pairing that with a torpedo vitola gives the blend a new dimension while staying true to the mellow, creamy profile fans expect from Gold Label.”
