PCA 2025 Fratello Cigars

Fratello Cigars certainly had a busy 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. Each year I try to come up with a theme for a booth, but when it comes to Fratello owner and founder Omar de Frias, there is one word that comes to mind – “excitement”. Omar brings an energy and genuine excitement to the projects he is developing. Like each year, Fratello’s booth is quite busy in 2025, but our team managed to get to Omar on day one as opposed to trying to catch him before the Trade Show closes on the final day.

With over a decade in the cigar business, Fratello Cigars has built up a nice portfolio of core and limited edition offerings.  2025 saw several new additions introduced at PCA 2025.

Fratello Puro Collection 1821 Dominican Republic

For many years, Fratello’s offerings erings have been built around a wide variety of tobaccos from different countries and regions.  2025, would see a change as Fratello would introduce a single country puro collection.

The Puro Collection from Fratello Cigars is where all of the tobaccos originate from the same country. As the name indicates, the 1821 Dominican Republic is a Dominican puro. It’s produced at Fratello’s long-time manufacturing partner, La Aurora. The 1821 Dominican Republic comes in one size – a 6 x 58 Pareto. Pricing matches the name – $18.21 SRP per cigar. It is one of the more expensive Fratello’s I’ve seen, but it also the most ultra-premium offering I’ve seen from them.

Fratello says the 1821 Nicaragua will follow – with tobaccos all from Nicaragua. The 1821 is significant because both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua got their independence from Spain that year.

Fratello Arlequin Edizione Di Carnevale

Arlequin Edizione Di Carnevale isew offering features a box-pressed size of 7 x 50 for both the Arlequin (San Andres) and Arlequin Connecticut lines, presented together in a single package. The Arlequin Edizione Di Carnevale box will include ten 7 x 50 Arlequin cigars and ten 7 x 50 Arlequin Connecticut cigars. Pricing comes in at $13.50 for both Arlequin Edizione Di Carnevale sizes. The Carnevale will be limited to 250 boxes.

Fratello Oro Toro Fresh Packs

Fratello has been releasing a lot of fresh pack samplers over the past few years. This time it’s one consisting of five Toro sized sizes of Fratello Oro. Fratello Oro is produced at La Aurora in the Dominican Republic and it was Fratello’s first Connecticut Shade blend to be released. The Oro Fresh Packs come to retailers in boxes containing 8 packs. Pricing comes in at $57.50 per Fresh Pack.,

Concealed Carry Bootlegger

Finally on display at the Fratello Booth was the Concealed Carry Bootlegger It is the fourth installment of Fratello’s Concealed Carry Series. . Concealed Carry was launched by Fratello Cigars in 2024. In this program, Fratello Cigars visits select factories and acquires unique blends. The cigars are repackaged and ultimately offered to select retailers. Most of the curated cigars are small-batch and offered to a limited set of retailers. Each of the Concealed Carry releases have had a theme around prohibition.

All of the Concealed Carry Cigars come in 12-count canisters. Bootlegger cigars are sold in 12-count canisters. Each cigar measures 54 x 5 1/2 inches, and the blend is undisclosed. The price is $10.00 per cigar.

Fratello Bianco Nero

Although released a couple of months ago, Fratello Bianco Nero was certainly in the spotlight.`

The company describes Fratello Bianco Nero as “a bold reimaging” of the Fratello Bianco blend. Like the original Fratello Bianco, the Bianco Nero uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper but the underlying blend is different. This includes an Indonesian binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The cigar will come in one size – a 6 x 58 box-pressed perfecto known as a Reserva. This cigar will run $15.00 SRP.
