PCA 2025 OpusX Society

The 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show marked our first visit with Manny Iriarte Enterprises and The OpusX Society. Iriarte has long worked with Arturo Fuente on packaging and box design. Recognizing the power of the Fuente Fuente OpusX brand, Iriarate worked with Carlito Fuente to create The OpusX Society. The OpusX Society offers another outlet to cater to the rabid fan base of OpusX. This includes both accessories and exclusive products with original art inspired by the OpusX brand. This is a separate company from Arturo Fuente, but it nonetheless receives the company’s support. Manny Iriarte’s company has been attending several trade shows, and this year, there were plenty of products for fans of OpusX.

OpusX La Edición De La Sociedad

This was The OpusX Society’s first cigar. It was first announced in 2023. A year later, at PCA 2024, the product was showcased for the first time, and pre-orders were taken. The pre-orders shipped late last year, and once again, it is being showcased at this year’s PCA.

Gold & Bullet

Iriarate refers to this as the “push and pull” of daily life. The gold symbolizes the success you strive for, while the bullet signifies the mistakes that follow you from behind. In this context, the cigar represents the gold, embodying the achievement you desire. On the packaging Gold & Bullet, it says: “It is a cigar that represents triumph, success, perseverance, and discipline in life. It is a cigar full of love, joy, and optimism… It’s Gold and its nothing related to the Bullet.”

Gold & Bullet is described as Episode Uno of The Society’s Chronicles. It’s fair to say it sounds like more is to come.

As is typical, there is an aura of mystery that surrounds this release. Aside from the cigar being a 6 3/4 x 50 vitola that comes in 12-count boxes, few details have been released about this cigar. One thousand five hundred boxes were made available for pre-order. Following PCA, it has been reported that the allocation has sold out.

In addition, the Gold & Silver will have complimentary accessories offered through Elie Bleu. This includes a C-5 cutter and a gold J-12 lighter, available in either gold or silver.

Teju Leather 3 Cigars Case

These are three-cigar cases offered in a choice of seven colors. Each case is handmade in Cádiz, Spain, using embossed top-grain cowhide leather and detailed Teju lizard print. Pricing is set at $370.00 per unit.

White and Black Series

This is being done in conjunction with Elie Bleu. It features an ashtray, cutter, and lighter. As the name indicates, the accessories are available in either white or black base colors.

Global Series

As the name suggests, the Global Series honors the OpusX brand’s international presence. This year, a lighter, cutter, and humidor reflecting this theme have been introduced. These accessories have been created in collaboration with Elie Bleu.
