Illusione Group of Five SE

At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show,  Illusione Cigars launched the second installment of The Group of Five line, the SE. The Group of Five SE adds a 6 x 56 parejo into the line.

Keeping with the look of many of Illusione’s other 6 x 56 offerings found in the line, the SE is wrapped in a foil with a color unique to the line. In this case, it’s a teal-colored foil.

As for the line, many of the details are shrouded in mystery. Last year, owner Dion Giolito said he set aside tobaccos for three years to develop the blend. The blend itself includes Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 tobaccos. This includes a higher priming Viso from a new varietal seed that hasn’t been grown in Nicaragua until recently.

The Illusione Group of Five SE joins the RB, a 5 x 52 Robusto that debuted last year.
