Lampert Cigars has announced it will revamp its 1675 Nicaragua Series for the U.S. market. This includes packaging changes and streamlining what is being offered in the portfolio. The 1675 Nicaragua Series consists of the Azul, Tojo, and Morado blends.
At the end of the month, the Lampert will change the packaging of the 1675 Nicaragua Series from 20-count boxes to ten-count boxes. Each will be accompanied by a matching beaded carton box that mirrors the design of the wooden boxes. Lampert has already implemented this change outside the U.S. market.
In addition, the cigars in the 1675 Nicaragua series get a new footer band. Each footer band will be labeled with the line name: Azul, Rojo, or Morado.
Regarding the portfolio, Lampert is streamlining the 1675 Nicaragua series to the U.S. market and will offer each of the three blends in the Toro size only. The Robusto and Short Robusto will remain available outside the U.S.
Finally, Lampert has announced that the price of cigars in the U.S. will increase by $0.50. This change is due to the recent tariffs imposed by the U.S.
“We’re excited to bring a more refined and retail-optimized presentation to our U.S partners, ” said Dr. Stefan Lampert, founder of Lampert Cigars, in a press release. “With these changes, we’re enhancing the brand’s presence while remaining true to the high-quality experience our customers expect.”
