At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Miami Cigar & Company introduced a new brand in its portfolio called Outcast Cigars. Miami Cigar currently has the Nestor Miranda, Tatiana, and Don Lino brands. While Miami Cigar is no stranger to contemporary branding, Outcast takes things to a different level with this release. It’s a distinct look and a different type of blend. Consequently, Outcast fits with Miami Cigar’s mantra of “taking their own route.” Company founder Nestor Miranda has always done things his way, and Outcast is another example.
The Outcast has a Brazilian wrapper, a hybrid of Cuban seed Corojo. The blend also features an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Dominican fillers. Presented in ten-count boxes, Outcast comes in four sizes: Robusto, Corona Gorda, Toro, and Gran Toro. The cigars come in ten-count boxes priced at $12.50 per cigar.
Miami Cigar and Company Vice President Jason Wood states that the wrapper is not overpowering, allowing the blend’s aromatic fillers to shine through. While the cigar is marketed as sweet, it has a natural sweetness and is not artificially sweetened or flavored. Wood mentions that this cigar serves as a pleasant bridge between the traditional Nestor Miranda and Don Lino offerings and the flavored Tatiana selections.
Finally, Outcast is a brand said to be distributed by Miami Cigar & Company. Shortly after PCA, a gentleman named Andre Dunand followed up with us as Outcast Cigars’ head of marketing. Notably, Dunand is the President/CEO of Stay Tranquilo, a digital media company in Miami, Florida. From our observations, Miami Cigar has been heavily involved in developing Outcast Cigars.
