The CLE Plus, a line introduced by CLE Cigars in 2013 is getting revamped. The new CLE Plus 2015 line now features a new blend, introduces some new sizes, and will now be made at a different factory. CLE Cigars showcased the new CLE Plus 2015 at the this year’s IPCPR Trade Show.
First up, the blend is being modified. While the originally blend was intended to be fuller, the CLE Plus 2015 dials it back from that one. The specifics of this blend have not been disclosed, but we do know that this cigar is a corojo cigar that features a Colorado wrapper.
As for the sizes, three of the four sizes are new – and they are all skewed toward the connoisseur sizes. There is a lonsdale (6 x 43), a corona gorda (6 x 46), and a churchill (7 x 48). The fourth size is a 5 x 50 robusto – the only size carried over from the original CLE Plus.
Finally, production of the CLE Plus 2015 will move from the Aladino factory to Julio Eiroa’s Las Lomas factory in Honduras.
