Probably the most anticipated release in the cigar pipeline right now is EO Brands’ 601 La Bomba.  Back in February, I posted some preliminary information on this cigar which was high level.

The release date is still targeted for May 11th, 2011.  Currently, Cuenca Cigars in West Hollywood Florida has a pre-release on this cigar.

I still have not been able to find out a lot of details on the blend, but I do have some information on the vitolas.  I’ve classified these vitolas generically.  Each vitola contains a “firecracker-like” pigtail.

Corona: 5-1/2 x 46
Robusto: 5 x 52
Toro: 6 x 50

I’m in possession of some samples and will be assessing them soon (I’ll post photos in the next few days).  There are some previews on the internet already of the pre-release samples (and they contain photos).   The profile of this cigar is full bodied and full strength.
