For the month of July, much of the news was launched either at the 2011 IPCPR show or near the start of the trade show. This year, I’ve attempted to capture more of a technical overview of the products (and a little tobacco legislation).
I’ve captured a summary of the IPCPR posts for July (and this will be updated to include posts that went beyond July) as this will provide a good snapshot of what happened in the cigar industry this month.
The other piece of news is that Sam Leccia Cigars was not present at IPCPR. This was due to a court order that prohibited Leccia from entering the facilities at IPCPR. Things are beginning to get ugly in the battle between Oliva and Leccia – stay tuned. Cigar Feed has some detailed information on this.
