Bill Paley, founder of La Palina Cigars appeared on the June 16, 2012 edition of Kiss My Ash Radio and gave some high level insights into the upcoming releases from La Palina.
First up, Paley re-confirmed the plans for the La Palina El Diario Maduro. He mentioned that the Maduro will be manufactured at the Raices Cubanas factory in Honduras. No specifics on the blend or the vitola were unveiled. This will mark the first maduro in any La Palina line.
Paley also made mention of a new line of cigars called the La Palina Classic. Paley described these cigars as more budget friendly. He also mentioned that this cigar would be manufactured in the Dominican Republic. This marks Paley’s first La Palina Cigar blend to be made in the Dominican Republic. No details of the blend or vitola have been mentioned at this time. The Dominican Republic marks the fourth country to manufacture a cigar for La Palina joining Honduras (El Diario), the Bahamas (Family Series), and the United States (Goldie).
We will have further information on these releases as details are made available.
