Sean Casper Johnson, one of the partners in L’Atelier Cigars was a guest on the 5/11/13 edition of Kiss My Ash Radio and disclosed information on the upcoming L’Atelier Maduro.
It was back in January, where an email was sent out by New Havana Cigars owner Dan Welsh (another partner in L’Atelier) to his customers indicating the L’Atelier Maduro was in the works.
The plans appear to launch the L’Atelier Maduro at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show.
Here is the information that Johnson provided on the release:
Blend Profile
The cigar is blended by the Garcia family at My Father Cigars. A Broadleaf wrapper is used for the L’Atelier Maduro. The Sancti Spiritus in the binder is actually the leaf that was used for the wrapper on the core L’Atelier line. It is a hybrid of Criollo and Pelo de Oro and was designed as a replacement seed for Pelo de Oro. This tobacco has also recently been incorporated into the re-launch of My Father Cigars’ El Centurion.
Wrapper: Broadleaf
Binder: Sancti Spiritus, Nicaraguan
