Torano Family Cigars President Charlie Torano did an interview on the Corona Cigar Company blog and gave some more insights into the 2013 releases being planned by his company.
Torano mentioned the launch of a new cigar in the Exodus line of cigars. This one is called the Exodus Finite and will be a limited edition cigar. This cigar would be the fourth current offering in the Exodus line joining the Exodus 1959, Exodus 1959 Silver Edition and the Exodus 1959 50 Years.
He also mentioned the packaging of the Carlos Torano Reserva Selecta will change. Torano mentioned they would be moving away from the current glass tube offerings, but did not reveal specifics. The Reserva Selecta is a blend consisting of a Connecticut Shade wrapper, Indonesian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It is sold in four sizes (Petite Corona, Robusto, Torpedo, Churchill).
Finally, Torano confirmed the release of the second “Blend from the Vault”. We had noted an interview Torano did with Over a Cigar on the new what will be the new D-042 blend. The Torano Vault A-008 was the first “Blend from the Vault” that was released in 2011.
