Royal Gold Nirvana Cameroon Selection |
Back in June, we noted a report on the Cigar Dave Show that Royal Gold Cigars was preparing to launch a Cameroon wrapper cigar by Drew Estate Cigars. While this release is planned later this year, the company was showcasing the cigar at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show.
The product is scheduled to be released this October with “limited availability”.
According to the product literature:
The story of NIRVANA begins with rich plantation tobaccos from the most precious and fertile growing regions in the North of Nicaragua and Cameroon, Aftrica. The dark, rich, and heavy soil of the renowed Esteli district makes the filler leaves come to life in this distinct blend. A silky and voluptuous Cameroon wrapper completes this epic narrative in a blend that we can proudly describe as luxuriously full-bodied, yet naturally sweet and spicy. Nirvana is made in Esteli, Nicaragua by “friends and family” cigar rollers who have been with Drew Estate for almost 10 years, ensuring a quality roll and consistency.
Royal Gold Cigars was announced back in February as a premium cigar division of Swisher International. The company also launched two other premium cigars – the Royal Gold Kismet (being made by Augusto Reyes) and Royal Gold Casino Gold HRS (being made by Nestor Plasencia).

Just bought 2boxes of torpedos. What %RH would be best to store them since this is a thinner wrapper and has been prone to crack when smoked?
Thanks,

I’d keep it right at 70.

Hi William,
Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate your knowledgeable input. I just started dry boxing them. I’ll be glad to provide updates as this process.
