South Florida retailer Smoke InnTM has announced that Espinosa Cigars’ 601 La Bomba Bunker Buster will officially be launched on June 6th. The Bunker Buster is the eighth installment of its MicroblendTM series. This not only marks Espinosa Cigars first installment into this series, but the first retail exclusive cigar to be done by Espinosa Cigars.
Back in February, a soft-launch of the Bunker Buster was given to attendees of a pre-event dinner at Smoke Inn’s Great Smoke 2014 event.
The Bunker Buster introduces a box-pressed figuardo to the 601 La Bomba line. Consistent with the 601 La Bomba line, the vitola is named for a bomb. In the case of the Bunker Buster, it is named for a bomb that is used to penetrate deep into mountainsides used to destroy hidden bunkers.
The MicroBlend Series was launched by Smoke Inn back in 2010 to initially commemorate the shop’s 15th anniversary. The concept of this series involves Smoke Inn teaming up with some of the biggest names in the cigar industry to produce a one time limited run exclusive to its shops. In the case of the 601 La Bomba Bunker Buster, 500 boxes of ten are being produced for a total of 5,000 cigars.
The June 6th 601 La Bomba Bunker Buster will have a national release party at June 6th at Smoke Inn’s Casa de Montecriisto location in Boynton Beach, Florida. Smoke Inn will also begin accepting pre-orders on May 23rd and will ship those on June 9th.
