Davidoff is planning on introduction several line extensions to its popular Davidoff Nicaragua line. A Diadema Fina frontmark will become the fourth regular production size, and fifth overall to the Davidoff Nicaragua brand. An offshoot of the Davidoff Nicaragua line in the form of mini cigars called Primeros by Davidoff by Nicaragua is also be introduced in two new blends. Information on this announcement was first released to Cigar Aficionado earlier this week.
The Davidoff of Nicaragua Diadema Fina will measure 6 1/2 x 50 – becoming the longest vitola in the Davidoff of Nicaragua line to date. The cigars will have an SRP of $17.90 and come in 12 count boxes. This is targeted for a September release.
The Primeros by Davidoff of Nicaragua will feature two blends – different from the core Davidoff Nicaragua line. It will be a mixed filler cigar measuring 4 1/8 x 32. There will be a natural version and a maduro version. These will not be Nicaraguan puros. They will be packaged in tins of six retailing for $29.90. This is targeted for a July release.
The Davidoff of Nicaragua line was introduced in 2013 as the company’s first Nicaraguan puro. The cigars are manufactured in the Dominican Republic.
