Antillian Cigar Corporation, best known for being the owner of Sosa Cigars has announced it will be the exclusive U.S. distributor for Arandoza Cigars, The Cigar Cork, Dona NIeves, and Headlines Cigars. Information on this announcement was made through a pre-release by Antillian Cigar Corp.
Under the agreement the four companies would use the Antillian sales staff to bring the products to market while each of the four companies could focus on product development, manufacturing, and brand expansion.
In a statement by Arby Sosa creative director and sales manager for Antillian Cigar Corp, “We are excited to bring these boutique brands under the umbrella of the Sosa family. With this being the year of our 50th Anniversary, the Sosa family looked at the cigar landscape and realized that ‘strength in numbers’ is the future. Why did I choose these brands to distribute? If you know me, you know I’m a simple guy. Each product had something different and interesting to offer, and I believe this collaboration with innovative concepts will allow all of us to remain competitive in this business.”
Arandoza Cigars is owned by Robert Arango. The company has three regular production cigars made out of Erik Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Esteli Nicaragua – Arandoza Red, Arandoza White, and Arandoza Blue.
The Cigar Cork makes airtight pressurized tubes that can be used as a cigar humidification and flavoring system. The tubes can hold cigars up to 7 x 60 and can be resealed for subsequent use.
Dona Nieves are produced made in Nicaragua at a factory called El Galan owned by Felix Mesa. They make a Habano cigar in three sizes.
Headlines Cigars is owned by Dee Aguasvivas and Ulises Delgado. The cigar started out as a House Cigar for Fusion Cigar Lounge in Clearwater, Florida. The make a Dominican puro cigar out of the Tabacalera Real Tamboril. The wrapper uses Pennsylvania Seed and Habano Oscuro that is crown in the Dominican Republic.
