Feature of the Week: Kiki Berger Passes Away
The cigar world mourned the loss of Don Kiki Berger. Berger passed away of complications from a heart attack suffered last week. He was 56 years old.
- Black Label Trading Company: The Texas based company announced it will produce a cigar called Catacomb to be Shop Exclusive for Underground Cigars in Fort Worth, Texas.
- Nat Sherman: The company has named Lionel Legry its new CIO.
- Rodrigo Cigars: We provided details on the long awaited Corona Project Vol. 1.
- Room 101 Cigars: A video was posted on the Room 101 Brand Facebook page announcing a November release called Uncle Lee is coming. No further details, but this release is slated to become the lifestyle brand’s 15th blend to be released.
- FDA: No new co-sponsors have signed on to HR792. The total remains at 165 co-sponsors (166 total sponsors)
- Nebraska: The State Supreme Court has approved a request by eight business to submit arguments for a smoking ban exemption in cigar bars and tobacco shops. Last month the court had ruled it unconstitutional for such an exemption.
