This past weekend, we noted in our Cigar Industry Report a new extension to Warped Cigars’ Flor del Valle line called Sky Flower. Today, the company has announced details around this release. The Flor del Valle Sky Flower will not only introduce a 5 5/8 x 48 Gran Corona to the line, but it will incorporate high priming medio tiempo tobacco from the Aganorsa tobacco farms.
Warped Cigars has been partnering with Casa Fernandez to produce the Flor del Valle line. Casa Fernandez also is the owner of the Aganorsa farms. Medio Tiempo is a rare priming that grows above the ligero. Not all tobacco plants will produce this priming and it’s harvesting and processing are time consuming, but the end result is something truly exquisite and unique. Medio Tiempo adds a unique layer of complexity that is unseen in any other ligero. Warped Cigars says these leaves blend harmoniously with Flor Del Valle and have create a blend that truly stands out from the rest of the Flor Del Valle portfolio.
The Flor del Valle Sky Flower is described as a limited production (as opposed to limited edition). This is due to the rarity of the medio tiempo leaves.
Sky Flower will make its official debut at Corona Cigars in Orlando, FL at a 2 day event that will occur on Friday, April 10th from 5pm-10pm at their Lake Mary location and Saturday, April, 11th from 5pm-10pm at the Sand Lake location.
At a glance, here is a look at the Flor del Valle Sky Flower.
