Earlier this month, General Cigar Company began informing retailers of Cohiba Spectre 2025. Spectre is the most premium offering to date by General Cigar. The first Spectre launched in 2018, and the 2025 edition marks the fifth edition in this limited edition series. Each installment has featured a different blend and different packaging.

Spectre 2025 features a seven-year-aged Havana Connecticut vintage from 2017, complemented by a Mexican San Andrés binder. The filler tobaccos include Criollo ’98 from the Mao region of the Dominican Republic, as well as tobaccos from San Andrés and Vuelta Abajo. According to General Cigar, Criollo ’98 is the first tobacco variety grown in the Mao region. The Spectre is available in a single size: a 6 x 52 Toro.

Packaging-wise, the Spectre 2025 features an upscale, cylindrical wooden box that opens to reveal 10 individually sealed metal tubes. Each tube has a built-in humidification system to ensure optimal cigar condition. The box’s core functions as a travel humidor.

“Spectre has always been about pushing the limits of what’s possible,” said Sean Williams, Cohiba Brand Ambassador. “Rare tobaccos, flawless construction, and packaging that is in a league of its own. This year, we’ve taken it even further. The blend is unlike anything we’ve done before, and the box is truly next level. This year’s Spectre is for those who appreciate the smoking experience as much as the cigar.

Spectre 2025 is currently shipping to retailers. Pricing comes in at $149.00 SRP per cigar.
