A maduro counterpart is coming to the Insidious line under Asylum Cigars. The Insidious Maduro by Asylum will be introduced in three sizes. It will feature the sweet tip cap that was found on the current Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade offering of the Insidious.
The Insidious line was introduced by Asylum Cigars at the 2014 IPCPR Trade Show. The release filled a niche in Asylum’s portfolio providing both an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade cigar and a cigar meant for beginners. The sweet tip cap is a mechanism that has been seen on lines such as Nat Sherman’s Host and Baccarat. The introduction of the Insidious Maduro now adds another option that can be positioned of the novice.
The cigar features a San Andres Maduro wrapper – a first in the Asylum Cigars port
Asylum Cigars was founded two years ago and is a partnership with Christian Eiroa and Tom Lazuka. It is a part of Eiroa’s CLE Cigar umbrella.
