Tubo offerings have pretty much been a staple of the Camacho line. At the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show in New Orleans, Camacho showed off its first tubo offering to its Camacho Ecuador line. The Camacho Ecuador Robusto Tubo will house a 5 x 50 Camacho Ecuador cigar. The new Robusto Tubo is expected to ship in late August.
The Camacho Ecuador was launched in June, 2014 as a regular production line. It was the first new regular production line added since Camacho underwent its rebranding.
The Robusto Tubo features the same blend as the other vitolas in the Camacho Ecuador line. The blend incorporates a Habano Ecuador wrapper, Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and a combination of Honduran and Dominican tobaccos. The Robusto Tubo will be the sixth frontmark in the line joining the Toro (6 x 50), Gordo (6 x 60), Figuardo (6 1/8 x 54 x 42), Churchill (7 x 48), regular Robusto (non Tubo – 5 x 50) offerings.
The Robusto Tubos will be packaged in 20 count boxes. Each Robusto Tubo will have a price point of $7.25.
