Retail giant JR Cigar is the latest recipient of a Room 101 Cigars shop exclusive. This one is called the Room 101 Fudo Myoo and it has arrived at JR retail locations.
The blend is highlighted by an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The packaging and vitolas are very familiar to Room 101 cigar enthusiasts. The cigar is produced in the three artesian-shaped figuardos that have become staples of the Room 101 line: Filero (4 1/2 x 52, JR Pricing $8.99), Ranfla (5 x 50, JR $9.49), and Chingron (8 x 60, JR $9.99). Each of the cigars is wrapper in tissue paper and features a paper wrap with a Japanese-style design. The cigars are packaged in ten count boxes.
Fudo Myoo refers to one of the important deities in Japanese Buddhism.
Room 101 Fudo Myoo is also available through JR Cigar’s distribution arm, Santa Clara Cigars.

Room 101 is more about marketing than producing superior cigars. Not impressed by their blending, or whoever does the blending. Not really impressed with the packaging either. But each to his own.
