The spring of 2016 has proven to be an unusually busy one in terms of new releases for Padron Cigars. Earlier this month the company announced the new Padron 1964 Anniversary Hermoso line extension. Now comes word of two new vitolas to its newest line, the Padron Damaso. The vitolas are called No. 32 and No. 34. Details on the announcement were reported in the 4/19/16 Cigar Insider
The Padron Damaso No. 32 will add a 5 1/2 x 52 Robusto Grande into the line. Meanwhile, the Padron Damaso No. 34 adds 6 x 52 torpedo, the first non-parejo in the Damaso line. The No. 32 will be priced at $13.75 while the No. 34 will be priced at $14.50. Both new sizes will come in 20 count boxes – consistent with the rest of the line.
It was at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show when the Padron Damaso made its debut. The Damaso became Padron’s first regular Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper offering.
