Fratello’s Boxer Series, a sampler consisting of five box pressed cigars is returning for another limited run. Today the company announced the limited run will be back for Father’s Day and see several other limited runs.

“Our success with the Boxer Series prompted us to release it for Father’s day.” “We also see a great benefit of having this five pack available for our large scale events, so we are limiting the Boxer Series to Father’s day, Christmas and large Fratello Events.” Said owner Omar de Frias in a press release.

The Fratello Boxer series includes the 6 1/2 x 52 Fratello Boxer – a box-pressed torpedo. This is a tweaked version of the original Fratello Cigar. While the Fratello Boxer box-pressed torpedo is an on-going release, there are four additional box-pressed vitolas using the Fratello Boxer blend only available in the sampler. The five sizes include:

  • Boxer: 6 1/4 x 52
  • Boxeador: 6 X 54
  • Boxero: 5 1/2 X 50
  • Boxista: 5 X 48
  • Boxercito: 4 3/4 x 40

The blend for the Boxer series features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and a combination of  Nicaraguan and Peruvian tobaccos. Pricing will remain at $45.00

In addition the company also showcased new packaging for the box-pressed torpedo Fratello Boxer which now includes a footer band similar to what was announced for the company’s new maduro box-pressed offering, the Fratello Bianco Boxer.
