Gran Habano Cigars has announced the second installment of its Private Humidor Selection, the Private Humidor Selection 2007-2008 MLG Corona Gorda. The Private Humidor Selection line made its debut last year and consists of cigars straight out of owner George Rico’s private reserve. A total of 300 boxes will be made available to select retailers in California, Texas, and Hawaii.
The MLG Corona Gorda is a Nicaraguan puro from a vintage of 2007 and 2008 cigars. The cigar measures 6 x 46. There will be twenty cigars per box and a total of 300 boxes will be produced. Pricing will be $10.00 per cigar.
Like last year, the cigars will be wrapped in gold foil and packaged in a box resembling a box of gold.
Six retailers have been identified for the release of the MLG Corona Gorda:

- The Piedmont Tobacconist: Oakland, California
- Tobacco Republic: Loomis, California
- Tamara’s Fine Wine and Spirits: Honolulu, Hawaii
- Cigar Towne: Houston, Texas
- Stogies World Class Cigars: Houston, Texas
In 2015, Gran Habano launched the Private Humidor Selection. This series of cigars that come from the 30,000 cigars produced since 2003 for George Rico’s personal usage. The 2015 edition was the Private Humidor Selection MLG Lancero.
