Following a similar path that to what the Davidoff Nicaragua line did, Davidoff today announced it is adding Davidoff Esucrio offerings to its Primeros line and will also introduce a cigarillo offering. The new Davidoff Escurio Primeros and Davidoff Escurio Cigarillos offerings will launch globally this month.

The Davidoff Escurio line was the company’s flagship release for 2015. It incorporated the use of Brazilian tobacco in the blend. The name Escurio is a derivative of two words – Escuro (which means dark in Portuguese, Brazil’s language – and in this case the cigar’s wrapper falls into this category) and Rio (short for the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro – which was an inspiration for this cigar.

Both lines will highlight the use of Brazilian tobacco – a signature for the Escurio line.

Primeros is a small cigar line offered by Davidoff. The new Davidoff Escurio Primeros will be a 4 1/8 x 34 petit panetela. The Escurio Primeros features a Habano Seed wrapper from Ecuador, a Brazilian Cubra binder, and a filler consisting of Brazilian and Dominican tobaccos. The cigars are packaged in tins of six and will retail for $29.00.

The new Davidoff Escurio Mini Cigarillos will be a 3 5/16 x 20 vitola. The Escurio Mini Cigarillos features a Habano Seed wrapper from Ecuador, a Brazilian Cubra binder, and a filler consisting of Brazilian and Dominican tobaccos. The cigars are packaged in tins of six and will retail for $29.00. It will be sold in packs of 20 with each pack carrying a price point of $19.90.

In addition to the new Escurio Primeros and Escurio Mini Cigarillos offerings, Davidoff announced two new sizes to its flagship premium Davidoff Escurio line.
