At the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show, Pure Aroma Cigars will launch the D’Crossier Presidential Collection, Pennsylvania Avenue. The name pays homage to company founder Santana Diaz’s appreciation of the U.S. being his home since 1995 while at the same time making a statement against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, who have issued crippling regulations for the industry.
The Pennsylvania Avenue will be feature a Habano Criollo Especial wrapper, a Habano binder, and combination of Brazilian and Dominican fillers. The cigars will be offered in fours sizes: Gordie, Wide Toro, Tainos, and Robusto. As with all D’Crossier cigars, the Presidential Collection is produced in Costa Rica. The cigars have been aging for the past 19 months.
The Pennsylvania Avenue is the second blend under the Presidential Collection – joining the Diplomacy Series. Originally the Diplomacy Series had origins as a four pack sampler before becoming a line of its own
“Smoking a cigar is about personal freedom, a choice to enjoy something that is familiar, generational and in my case handed down from my father to me. I am hopeful that our industry will be unscathed”, commented Diaz in a press release.
Pricing for the Pennsylvania Avenue will range from $8.00 to $12.00.
