Boutique Blends Cigars has announced a new addition to its Aging Room Cigars’ portfolio, the Aging Room Small Batch Pura Cepa. The cigar is slated to hit retailers in May.
The cigar is being produced at Plasencia S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua and marks the first Aging Room branded cigar to come out of that factory. Pura Cepa translates to “pure strain” and makes reference to the fact that the cigar is a Nicaraguan puro. Boutique Blends’ co-owner Rafael Nodal told Cigar Aficionado the cigar uses tobaccos from the four main growing regions of Nicaragua (Condega, Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe).
Aging Room Small Batch Pura Cepa is being produced in three sizes and will be available in 20-count boxes.
As with all Boutique Blends’ Cigars, the Aging Room Small Batch Pura Cepa is distributed by Altadis U.S.A. Boutique Blends has a strategic partnership with Altadis U.S.A. which includes handling sales and distribution as well as Nodal heading up product innovation at Altadis. Plasencia S.A. is currently handling production for several Altadis U.S.A. releases already.
Aging Room Small Batch Pura Cepa joins Aging Room Pelo de Oro as Nicaraguan-made, Nicaraguan puros in the Aging Room portfolio.
