The Texas market is important to most brands in the cigar industry, and Marrero Cigars is targeting it. This the company announced it has named Tony Gomez as its Regional Sales Representative for the Dallas market.

“I am honored to embark on an exciting new chapter in my career in the cigar industry. Many of you know me as Big Tony Gomez. I have been in Cigar Retail Management for quite some time now but with the wonderful opportunity from Joel Marrero I have been chosen as the Texas Cigar Representative for Marrero Cigars. I will still be in the Dallas area serving Jay Davis and his great clientele at Blue Smoke of Dallas. I will just have a little more on my plate these days. I would like to thank all of my friends throughout the industry at all the wonderful shops throughout the DFW area and I look forward to meeting with all of you to let you know more about the great cigars made by Marrero Cigars.”

Marrero Cigars was founded by Joel Vazquez Marrero in 2014. The company produces its cigars in Costa Rica at Tabacos de Costa Rica.
