At the 2018 IPCPR Trade Show, the Surrogates brand unveiled a second size in its Satin Glove line, a 6 x 54 box-pressed Toro.
Satin Glove made its debut in 2014 as the first San Andres wrapped offering in the Surrogates line. At the time it was released in a single size, a 7 x 47 Churchill. Like the original Satin Glove, the Satin Glove 654 also uses a San Andres wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan blend.
Surrogates was launched in 2013 as a brand under the L’Atelier Imports company, a spin-off company started by Pete Johnson. Recently L’Atelier Imports and Tatuaje Cigars have consolidated their operations. Surrogates today consists of eight blends and a total of 12 sizes.
