Fifteen years ago, Pete Johnson started working with Don Pepin Garcia at the El Rey de los Habanos factory in Little Havana rolling his brand of cigars which would grow into Tatuaje. This year Johnson pays homage to the fifteen year milestone with a series of cigars – and he goes back to Miami to mark the occasion.
The Tatuaje 15th Anniversary Cigars feature two blends – one containing an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Claro wrapper and another containing an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper. Both blends are available in two sizes: Belicoso Fino (5 1/2 x 52) and Torpedo Grand (6 1/2 x 52). The blends and sizes both originate out of El Rey de los Habanos and were originally made for the Grand Havana Room in Manhattan.
The cigars come packaged in ten-count boxes and feature commemorative white and gold banding. For both blends, pricing for the Belicoso Fino is set at $19.00 while the Torpedo Grande is priced at $21.00. The initial production of these cigars started shipping last month.
