At Inter-Tabac 2019 came word of Royal Agio Cigars relating its Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro Lancero FT Edición Limitada. Today the company officially announced this cigar will be offered in the U.S. market.
The Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro Lancero FT Edición Limitada consists of a sun-grown, stalk-cut Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Dominican Olor binder, and a combination of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and exclusive Brazilian Mata Norte fillers. The cigar is available in one size – a 7 x 40. The cigars are presented in 10-count boxes. A total of 2,650 boxes have been produced for global distribution with 500 of the individually numbered boxes being made available to the U.S. market.
This is the second Lancero FT Edición Limitada following the release of the original Balmoral Añejo XO Lancero FT Edición Limitada. Like the original, the Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro Lancero FT Edición Limitada features the signature “flag tail” on the cap.
“This is a special release for Balmoral that will also certainly excite the senses, and I am personally very excited to share it with cigar lovers everywhere. While the introduction of the Añejo XO Oscuro blend was itself a noteworthy discovery, the length and ring gauge of the lancero brings with it an intensification that is closer to the core of this exceptional blend,” commented CEO Boris Wintermans in a press release.
The limited cigars will begin to reach U.S. retailers in October with current Balmoral retailers being given priority.
