Cigar News: United Cigars to Release Garofalo La Famiglia Line

United Cigars has announced the Garofalo La Famiglia line. This is a series of three new blends that are a collaboration between New England retailer David Garofalo and President and CEO of Perdomo Cigars Nick Perdomo, Jr. This is the second line that Garofalo and Perdomo have come together on, joining the original Garofalo Legacy line. The Garofalo La Famiglia line will begin shipping nationwide to retailers in January 2022, but a first allocation is currently available at Two Guys Smoke Shop.

“Making a special line of cigars for my close friend, David Garofalo, is an honor for the Perdomo family,” states Nick Perdomo, Jr. in a press release. “The original Garofalo Legacy Series has been a success over the last ten years, and we know the addition of the new Garofalo La Famiglia will continue to represent the Garofalo family’s passion and dedication to providing the finest premium hand-made cigars to cigar enthusiasts world-wide.”

The Garofalo La Famiglia line is offered with three distinct blends, each containing a different wrapper option.

The Garofalo La Famiglia Connecticut blend is a mild to medium-bodied smoke featuring a five-year-aged Ecuadorian Connecticut-shade wrapper. This cigar is described as having a smooth creaminess to it.

The Garofalo La Famiglia Sun Grown is a medium-bodied smoke with a five-year-aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper. This cigar is described as having a smooth spiciness to it.

Finally, the Garofalo La Famiglia Maduro is a medium to full-bodied smoke featuring a five-year-aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper. This cigar is described as having a rich sweetness to it.

All three blends feature Nicaraguan Cuban-seed tobaccos grown at Perdomo’s farms located in the Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa Valley regions in Nicaragua. The cigars are available in five sizes with pricing ranging from $10.00 to $13.00 excluding local pricing. All five sizes are presented in 24-count boxes.
