Cigar News: J.C. Newman Cigar Company to Showcase Revamped Black Diamond at PCA 2022

Late last year, Drew Newman of J.C. Newman Cigar Company announced that the Diamond Crown Black Diamond brand would be revamped. This included a new blend and new packaging. At the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, the all-new Diamond Crown Black Diamond would be showcased.

“My grandfather, Stanford J. Newman, told me that his father, J.C. Newman taught him that we should aim to do something better every day,” said Drew Newman in a press release. “Although our Diamond Crown Black Diamond cigars have been savored by cigar enthusiasts around the world for six years, I was not satisfied and wanted to make them better.”

The cigar features a Connecticut Havana wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, J.C. Newman says the blend has been strengthened and refined. The Black Diamond will still come in the same vitolas and box counts. Plans are for the new Diamond Crown Black Diamond to ship to retailers this summer.

The 2022 PCA Trade Show opens July 9, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
