At the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Patina Cigars will introduce its fourth regular production offering, the Patina Sumatra.
Produced at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA), the Patina Sumatra is highlighted by an Ecuadorian Sumatra Oscuro wrapper, Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, and a combination of U.S. and Nicaraguan fillers. Patina Sumatra is offered in four vitolas: Precipitation (4 x 50), Rustic (5 x 52), Copper (6 x 46), and Bronze (6 x 52). Each is presented in 16-count boxes. Pricing ranges from $8.95 to $12.95.
“The Sumatra is a continuation of our strategy to create unique core line offerings that are available on a continual basis to our retailers and consumers. It’s a very dynamic cigar and I can’t wait for people to enjoy it,” commented Mo Maali, owner of Patina Cigars in a press release.
In addition, the company announced a 2% price increase on its Patina Connecticut and Patina Habano lines effective August 1, 2022.
“It’s no secret that inflationary pressures are permeating throughout the entire economy right now and unfortunately Patina is not immune. For the first time in Patina’s five-year history, we will be implementing a 2% increase on our Connecticut and Habano lines,” said Maali.
The 2022 PCA Trade Show opens July 9, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
