Quality Importers Trading Company (QI) has announced today that Alex Goldman, currently Chief Operating Officer of Quality Importers Trading Company (QI), will be taking on the additional role of company President.

According to Quality Importers Chairman and CEO Michael Giordano, Goldman will oversee all day-to-day operations of the company as well as spearhead the implementation of the company’s longer-term initiatives.

Goldman is the fourth generation of his family to work in the cigar industry, having owned and operated House of Oxford Distributors and Mom’s Cigars, in addition to having leadership positions with industry principals Swisher International and Drew Estate.

“Having grown up in the cigar business and working in just about every facet of the industry from wholesale to retail to mail order to owning and developing brands, I have a deep love and respect for this industry – even when it has not always had that same love for me in return. This industry is all about relationships, and I look forward to growing relationships I have formed over the past 25+ years as well as building new ones as the President and COO of QI.
