Cigar Dojo’s latest branded release will come from Asylum Cigars. The project is called the Asylum Meshugana. It’s a release meant to celebrate both ten years of Asylum Cigars and ten years of Cigar Dojo. The cigar will make its debut at the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival on Saturday, August 27, 2022, with an allotment being made available to Smoke Inn for retail sale on Saturday, August 27, 2022.

The name Meshugana is Yiddish slang for “nonsense,” “silliness,” or “craziness.”

The blend is a Honduran puro highlighted by an Authentic Corojo wrapper. The cigar will come in one size – a 6 x 52 Toro. The cigars will be available in ten-count bundles. A total of 400 bundles will be made available. Pricing is set at $100 per bundle.

“For a long time we have wanted to do a blend with Authentic Corojo tobacco, and this new Meshugana Asylum features it in a marvelous way,” said Eric Guttormson, owner of Cigar Dojo, in a press release. “The Asylum team came up with an outstanding blend that is down-right delicious.”

Tom Lazuka of Asylum Cigars commented, “When Eric from Cigar Dojo contacted us about doing the 2022 release of the Cigar Dojo exclusive, we knew we had to say yes. The guys from Cigar Dojo have been great to us throughout the years, and we’ve always wanted to do this collaboration.”
