Davidoff has announced what it is terming a relaunch of Davidoff Zino Mini Cigarillos Nicaragua. Both cigars get updated blends, packaging, and will now be produced in-house at Davidoff’s factory in the Dominican Republic. These will be available for the international market outside the U.S.
First up, the Zino Mini Cigarillos Nicaragua gets a blend consisting of a Mexican wrapper and binder over a filler of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. This is a different blend that the premium, large format Zino Nicaragua line. The cigarillo is a small thin 3 1/8 x 19 vitola.
The Zino Mini Cigarillos Red also received a blend update. It is a blend consisting of a Mexican wrapper and binder over a filler of Nicaraguan tobaccos. This is also a 3 1/8 x 19 vitola.
“Zino Davidoff was a dynamic man full of lust for life. We want our Zino Mini Cigarillos to reflect his desire and spirit to live in the moment – always striving for an A to Z of flavours and experiences. It fills me with pride to say that with the recent blend update, our new creations now capture and honour this spirit and sense of discovery adequately”, says Edward Simon, CMO at Oettinger Davidoff AG in a press release.
Both the Zino Mini Cigarillos Nicaragua and Zino Mini Cigarillos Red are packaged in a slide carton box that holds 20 cigarillos.

Do you think these would ever be released in the states? It’s a premium cigar, all be it small. It’s a great 15 min. smoke.
