At the 2022 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, Oveja Negra Brands announced the return of the Black Label Trading Company Morphine.  Morphine is a limited edition cigar that was first introduced in 2014. Since then it had been an annual limited edition release, but in 2021 it was given a year off. Now it returns for 2022 and it is getting ready to ship to retailers.

There will be three sizes to the Morphine Corona, Lancero and the Box Pressed Torpedo Robusto (making its first return since 2016).  The Corona and Lancero feature a San Andres Maduro wrapper while the Box Pressed Torpedo Robusto has dual San Andres and Ecuadorian  Maduro wrappers. All three sizes contain Nicaraguan tobaccos for the binder and filler. Each of the three sizes are presented in 20-count boxes

“I really missed not having Morphine around last year. That was the first time since 2014 that we’ve not released it. I believe this year might be one of the best vintages so far. I’m most excited about bringing back one of my favorite vitolas, the 5×54 Robusto box press torpedo. The Robusto has the dual San Andrés & Ecuadorian Maduro wrappers, while the Corona Gorda and Lancero are full San Andrés wrapper,” said James Brown, creator of Black Label Trading Co. and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra in a press release.
