Appearances on Countdown (By Year/Company): 3 (2020, 2021, 2022)

Coming in at #24 is the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro Epicure. Back in the early 2000s when Nick Perdomo introduced a line called the Perdomo Inmenso. It was a line well ahead of its time, as it featured some very large ring gauge cigars. Over the past decade, large ring gauge cigars have earned a seat at the table in the cigar marketplace. 60-ring gauge cigars are a staple for many lines, and it’s not uncommon to see 70-ring gauge lines. Last year, Perdomo Cigars announced the return of the Perdomo Inmenso. It’s now being dubbed the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy because it’s a line that features all 70-ring gauge offerings in different lengths. The Perdomo Inmenso Seventy also has a revamped blend and an all-new look. It was released in two wrappers – Sun Grown and Maduro. It’s the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro in the Epicure (6 x 70) size that lands on this year’s Countdown.

The Perdomo Inmenso Seventy is produced at Tabacalera Perdomo is Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend for the Maduro is highlighted by a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper over a binder and filler from Nicaragua. All of the tobaccos are grown on the Perdomo farms.

Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro Epicure

The Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro Epicure produced notes of coffee, cedar, earth, cocoa, dried fruit, and black pepper. Most of the smoking experience delivers a medium-strength, medium-bodied profile. Toward the last third, the strength and body progress to medium to full.

This is Perdomo’s third consecutive appearance on a Cigar Coop Countdown. The Perdomo Inmenso Epicure Maduro is only the second 70-ring gauge cigar to get on a Cigar Coop Countdown. If you have been following our coverage so far, the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro Epicure is the fifth cigar from Nicaragua to land a spot.
